Pre Tummy Tuck Photo Ideas

I’m writing these down to help others as well.  I posted about getting the best pre-op photos from the message board I’m on.  Here are the responses:

  • Take measurements and make sure the ruler is straight across your body so you’re accurate

– bust size
– under bust (the area immediately under your bust)
– mid waist (part over the BB)
– low waist (just over your hips)
– butt

  • Wear your swimming suit pre-op to see the same suit post-op!
  • Wear jeans and a regular shirt pre-op so you can do the same after.  Someone wishes she could see herself the way most others see her in normal clothes (not naked!)
  • Photos should be sitting, standing, bending, squishing the belly
  • Try to measure how far away your husband is when taking the photos to get the same distance post-op
  • Take TONS of photos at every angle!
  • Wear the same underwear pre-post (and chose a sexy pair)
  • As for the pre op pics, do clothed, naked, and include frontal, behind, oblique, sides, close up and at a distance. It’s nice to be able to count how many stretchmarks are cut out, and see how the skin moved, as well as being able to see the full body shot which lets you get a better overall mental picture of how the entire image has adjusted.
